Lower Provo (Below Deer Creek)

photo (8)It sure feels like Spring in Utah right now. With the warmer weather lately the fishing on the Provo River has been good. We are seeing that trout are feeding and holding in deeper slower moving water but seeing fish eating small midge and BWO’s on the surface as well. As we come into March we will witness more and more of  a BWO Hatch, so have your dry fly box ready. Go smaller on your fly and light on your tippet when fishing the dry, it’s to your advantage. With the River running as clear as it is now, the sight fishing is great.  Fish the “Inline Rig” with thin tippet, small bugs and light weight, it’s a blast. Please contact us if you have any questions. See you on the water. – WASATCH GUIDE SERVICE
