Lower Provo (Below Deer Creek)

photo 1Winter fly fishing on the Provo River is now here.  With the river running at winter flows of 100 CFS the fish are starting to stack up in the slower deeper runs.  The Brown Trout have started doing their thing on the REDDS so be watchful where you wade.  Streamer  fishing has been producing good results along with a light midge nymph rig.  Best fishing time right now is from 10AM – 3PM.  Get out and fish and dress warm.
