Lower Provo (Below Deer Creek)

photo-34Fly Fishing on the Provo River has been really good lately with great actions both on the nymph and dry.  River  levels on the lower Provo River have recently started to rise which in return has pushed a lot of big fish close to the bank.  The majority of trout this time of year are going to be found with in 5-6 feet from the bank so keep you casts in close.   We have also been hooking into big fish in the the faster more shallow runs too.  The bounce rig has been the most effective through out the day.  Make sure when throwing the bounce that you tend to over weight.  Be careful when crossing and be mindful of other anglers.  See on the water.
