Lower Provo (Below Deer Creek)

Summer time fly fishing in Utah has been spectacular.  The weather has been perfect and fishing has been crazy good.  With our rivers finally at fishable flows, the trout have been  settling into their runs and actively feeding on all sort of bugs.  The Lower Provo has been seeing strong PMD and Caddis hatches that usually start ramping up mid afternoon til dusk.  Most guided trips have been fishing the nymph and switch to the dry towards the later end of the day.  If your one that likes to fish caddis dry flies, you need to come experience the world class caddis hatch that has been happening most evening on the lower Provo river from 7:00 – dark.  Some of the most incredible dry fly fishing is happening now.  Please be respectful of all land owner while wading.  We look forward to seeing you on the water.  Be safe.
